Inspired by an ARS Technica article. An FKS Massive Videogame Discussion about what makes you quit certain games? Whether it be bad checkpoint placement, bad game design, glitches, difficulty, cheating AI, etc…
Matt has the week off, so Knee, Bryan, Sniper, and Mark are in on this discussion. Later on we also discuss the video game body count, as compared to other things, ie. religion that don’t get called for a ban but video games do. We’re still trying to figure out if falling vending machines have killed more people than the media blames video games for. To wrap up we take a look at upcoming titles we’re looking forward to.

FKS #59 – Revenge of Sully’s Ground Chuck
Wow, what can I say about our first show in 2 weeks… Still doing the show via Ubuntu Linux. (17 days, 10 hours, 7 minutes at the time of this writing). I talk about my trip to Maine, and coming back with 20 lbs of candy. We briefly cover UFC 97, then a partial review of the forthcoming UFC Undisputed 2009 based on the demo, so it’s not a full review yet. Then we go into an MVD concerning PETA, and a guy that killed his wife over a PS3?. We had an ROD scheduled but the train wheels fall completely off this one before we get to it. I was 4 Martinis deep and trying to figure out an echo issue which causes Matt to send a show ending text! Nothing was topping the end of this one. Enjoy the progress of my buzz, and enjoy the ending to this one.

Long-ass title of this one courtesy of Bryan. We just leave the mics live pre-show for “8 minutes of idle chat with Matt and Steve” (if you actually believe that, I have an ebay auction with an autographed FKS penny going for $2,000 for you to buy, too). The show kicks off with some quick UFC news, including UFC 98 changes, Who made the cover of the upcoming UFC Undisputed video game, and what Dana had to say about Chuck Lidell’s future. Then, Matt pulls a perfect segue out of his ass and we discuss what people use to gauge personal timelines. Then a mini-MVD about pedofiles luring kids over the Playstation Network, and wrap this one up with Knee’s final 5 things he hates about people ever!
