FKS #56 – Stonehenge Moon
Big show this week that no one will listen to… or at least no one will admit to listening to there were 44 downloads of last week’s show… Anyways my new friend that I mentioned a few weeks ago stopped by the studio to help out with this one. Very special thanks to Vertical Matt. Bryan is podcasting from a hotel in Philly, or so he says, and Knee took a visit to spread the word of FKS in Gladstone, Oregon this week, great job Knee! A decent helping of MMA is in this as well as a special surprise, Georges St. Pierre stopped by to discuss BJ Penn’s cheating allegations, and also gave us some insight on preparing Kenny Florian for his upcoming match with BJ. Knee shows off his outstanding interview skills. We also cover the second round of fights in the Flying Knee Show March Madness Tournament, where we finally needed some help from outside the show (Well, we wouldn’t have but the tiebreaker decided to just stop doing his own show and leave unannounced). All in all, great show.

FKS #55 – Emerald Colon
So we’re in mid March, that means it’s time for the Flying Knee Show March Madness Bracket Battle. This year it’s current (and alive) actors. With Knee’s knowledge of movies, it was sure to be entertaining. We also talk about the Dana White Saint Paddy’s day party Sniper went to. Also, one of Knee’s friends discovers a surprise.

Long-ass title of this one courtesy of Bryan. We just leave the mics live pre-show for “8 minutes of idle chat with Matt and Steve” (if you actually believe that, I have an ebay auction with an autographed FKS penny going for $2,000 for you to buy, too). The show kicks off with some quick UFC news, including UFC 98 changes, Who made the cover of the upcoming UFC Undisputed video game, and what Dana had to say about Chuck Lidell’s future. Then, Matt pulls a perfect segue out of his ass and we discuss what people use to gauge personal timelines. Then a mini-MVD about pedofiles luring kids over the Playstation Network, and wrap this one up with Knee’s final 5 things he hates about people ever!

Here you go, Paul and Carl, the show as directed by Knee. This is what happens when someone on the show doesn’t run things by the remaining show staff and it ruins the flow of the show. It was my birthday weekend, you’d never know it. I should have taken this week off. We talk about my birthday, then something that Knee hates (UFC), but it leads us into making fun of the size of Pete Sell’s head the rest of the show. Then we do something else Knee hates, a news story about a poop sale. Then we get to, that’s right, the *Final* 5 reasons Knee Hates people.

Paul Harvey
1918 ~ 2009
Tonight we honor the passing of a broadcast legend. The first 20 minutes of this podcast is an audio piece recoreded by Paul Harvey titled “The Testing Time” from the early 1960s, and you’ll have to keep reminding yourself of that while you listen. It’s simultaneously fascinating and creepy in how it holds up to this very day. Paul was one of my radio idols, and if it weren’t for him this podcast would probably not exist. So, tonight we pay homage and share some memories of the most familiar voice to ever grace the airwaves…. Then we get back to the dick jokes – litterally.
A very special thank you to Grimm who came in studio to help fill what would have otherwise been dead air.
